I apologize for the lack of posts, but I have exams coming up and I've been studying like crazy (and also taking mini-breaks to catch some sun, as you can see!). It's been crazy good weather all week here in Holland, my friends and I have been soaking up the sun in several parks, with chips and school books scattered around us.
More posts will be coming soon, after I finish my exams (June 8th is my last one!). Until then, enjoy a few pictures I took with Instagram this past week or so, and follow me on Instagram, if you would like to. My user name is lindsay_vdb.
Have a lovely week everyone!

Nailed: OPI Malaysian Mist

A pinky nude from OPI called Malaysian Mist is what I'm wearing on my nails right now. I know it's not the most exciting of colors for spring, but it's kind of my "go to"/goes-with-everything color.
And yes, I stole the name for my nail polish posts from another blogger (Fleur de Force, I'm sure you all know her).
I liked it and I couldn't think of anything else myself!

Let me know if you guys like these nail polish posts! x

Review: Lush "No Drought" Dry Shampoo

I had been searching for a dry shampoo for ages when I stumbled across this one from Lush. I straighten my hair quite a lot, and whenever I do, it takes about 2 hours every single time. So you understand that having put two hours of manual labor into my hair the day before, I really don't feel like washing it the next day (or the day after that). Still, my hair gets quite greasy after a while so I needed something to soak up the grease.

Trends Spring/Summer 2012: The Flatform!

The Flatform: Height without the hurt!

So the 90's are making a huge comeback this season, and nothing brings me back to the nineties like a flatform (or how I used to call them back in the day: Spice Girl shoes).
I owned a few of these bad boys in the 90's cause I wanted to look just like the Spice Girls. After that period of my life was over, I chucked them in the back of my wardrobe and vowed to never wear them again.
But now they are back, and I must say I am eating my words. They obviously do not look the same as they did in the nineties, and are kind of a life saver for me since I am terrible in heels. These shoes give me an extra lift while still being super comfortable, it's like you're still on flats!

Review: Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation

I've used my Make Up Forever HD foundation religiously for as long as I can remember, but I have been running out and since I'm on a tight budget this month, I decided to go on the hunt for a more affordable, drugstore foundation.
I have combination skin, with dry patches around my forehead (close to my hairline) and oily patches right along my nose. On top of that, my skin is also quite sensitve. I'm pimple-free most of the time, but the wrong product will make my skin go absolutely crazy.
When I picked up the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, I was skeptical. It has a slight scent, which worried me, since scented products tend to irritate my skin.
I was pleasantly surprised! The foundation applied really nicely, I needed only one full pump (It has a pump! Thank God! Much more hygienic).
